“It was only ten days, but they were the best ten days of my life”
Wow. I just had the most amazing experience of my life. I got to grant wishes for 14 amazing children. Children just like any other kid, a kid with hopes and dreams just like us.
Their wishes were so simple. They didn't ask for much just an I-Pod, a laptop or clothes or even a bed to sleep in!... Things we all take for granted. Yet, they were so thankful. It makes you feel so good like you actually made a difference.
It was only ten days, but they were the best ten days of my life. There is no way to fully explain the trip of feeling you get after every wish and every day. The only way is to go yourself. I only wish everyone could have that experience. Now I fully understand why it is called the "Journey for a Lifetime". This experience will definitely last a lifetime.
