Going on a Journey for a Lifetime is something that I will never forget. Seeing the joy on a child’s face, when they get something so little that I would take for granted, changes you. It’s very hard to describe but it is amazing.
The hospitality of Polish families, even poor families, is staggering. I was surprised how many times we went into someone’s home to grant wishes and left with presents. It is priceless. I think everyone should go on one of these trips. If only everyone could go on a Journey for a Lifetime.
